Report: Facebook to Expand Presence with Domain 12 Lease

Local media sources report that Facebook struck a deal with TIER REIT and Endeavor Real Estate Group to take down space in the the 17-story, 320,102-square-foot Domain 12. The building in question, in North Austin’s mixed-use Domain development, is currently under construction.

When completed in Q4 2019, Domain 12 will be the tallest office building, to date, at the Domain.

The news comes less than a year after the technology giant inked a 231,507-square-foot lease for Third + Shoal, a 29-story office tower that is being developed at the site of the former Austin Music Hall. Facebook currently occupies space at 300 W. Sixth (downtown Austin) and three floors in Domain 8. The company employs approximately 700 people.
