Repeat Austin Project Developers Joining Forces on Apartment Venture

JLB Partners and Trinsic Residential are teaming up to convert an Austin lumber yard into a 309-unit apartment complex. The plan is to build on the former site of Eastside Lumber & Decking near the intersection of East Cesar Chavez Street and North Pleasant Valley Road.

The Austin Business Journal reports the multifamily project, which carries an estimated cost of $100 million, would rise on 6 acres at 2915 E. Cesar Chavez St. It is planned to total 341,641 square feet.

Construction is expected to begin near the end of the year and wrap up Dec. 31, 2027.

JLB and Trinsic Residential both completed projects in Austin. Trinsic has Aura High Pointe, apartments located near Lake Travis, in its portfolio, while JLB counts North Lamar Boulevard’s Echo apartments.
