REOC Partners Splits Operations, Hires Ken Espensen

REOC Partners Ltd., which does business as REOC San Antonio, split its brokerage and development divisions, and hired Ken Espensen as senior vice president. REOC Development will operate as a wholly-owned affiliate of REOC Partners, with REOC San Antonio engaged to manage and lease the developed projects.

Espensen, a 40-year industry veteran, has worked with big-box retailers such as Academy Sports and Outdoors and Walmart Inc., through his company, Espensen Commercial Realty. For now, his company will remain independent, but he told the San Antonio Business Journal that he could merge with REOC San Antonio.

REOC’s development projects have most recently focused on retail projects. However, according to REOC Development President Todd Gold, the company’s future approach would be more opportunistic.
