Rental Community Slated for La Cantera Town Center
Phoenix Property Co expects to start moving dirt on an apartment development near La Cantera Town Center (photo). It’s going up near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604 on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.
OHT is the contractor on the $57 million, 342-unit development. There’s also going to be a small commercial standalone food and beverage space.
The San Antonio Business Journal reports the developer is recruiting a branding and marketing team that will help decide the project’s name, among other features.
The La Cantera Town Center master plan includes a mix of office, hotel, health and wellness facilities, entertainment, retail, additional residential spaces and park areas. The area includes the Shops at La Cantera, a luxury shopping center, the San Antonio Spurs’ new training facility called the Rock at La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
