Renovated 1411 Broadway 97% Occupied

April 21, 2017

The office tower at 1411 Broadway is now 97% occupied — up from 87.5% since the owners began $60 million in renovations.

“Through our capital plan, we’ve been successful in attracting a broader array of tenants due to the substantial building enhancements, the spectacular views, the ever-increasing vibrancy of the neighborhood and the building’s central location, steps away from Bryant Park,” said Michael W. McMahon, senior vice president for Callahan Capital Properties, which owns the tower with Ivanhoé Cambridge .

The owners have already renovated the lobby, plaza landscaping and elevators. Work has now begun to replace all of the windows in the 39-story tower. Spurred by renovations, office tenants leased about 240,000 square feet.
