Remodel Completed on Willis Tower’s High-Level Club

J.C. Anderson has completed renovations to The Metropolitan, a 40,000-square-foot club located on the 66th and 67th floors within the Willis Tower in Chicago. The firm was selected by ClubCorp, the Metropolitan’s Dallas-based operator, to perform the renovations, which are a piece of the tower’s repositioning program.

The renovations included the addition of Frame, a bar and lounge with food, drinks and live entertainment; Blueprint, a collaborative work area that will transform to a cocktail bar at night; and an upscale dining area called Craftsman that will honor Chicago’s architectural heritage.

J.C. Anderson also renovated the East Meeting Room to include a new buffet banquet bar with new tile and top, carpet, wood flooring, lighting and wall finishes. In addition, upgrades were made to the 66th floor meeting rooms.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Joe Maguire, Michael Dunn and Greg Wysocki. Gonzalez Architects provided architectural services.
