Related, Tucker Trim Down Fulton Market Condo Tower
Related Midwest and Tucker Development revised their plans for a Fulton Market residential tower. The development team revealed a new design that shaves eight stories from the proposed 51-story condo project at 170 N. Peoria St.
A previous version of the design revealed earlier this year called for a 570-foot 51-story tower with 300 units. The latest envisions a 43-story structure that would rise 495 feet, though the width of the new design would increase from 101 to 105 feet per side.
The development team also committed to pay for upgrades to Randolph Street. Those could include improvements that reflect the city-approved West Loop Design Guidelines, such as protected bike lanes and new lighting, seating and landscaping.
It is anticipated the project would break ground in early 2019, and deliver in 2021.
