Related Planning Apartments on Site at Fort Lauderdale Office Park

Related Group recently paid $9.3 million for a development site at a Fort Lauderdale office park at 6700 N. Andrews Ave. Naya USA was the seller. CPN West retained ownership of the 309,243-square-foot office building there.

Last year, Related Group filed plans to develop the vacant portion of this site with apartments. The eight-story Manor Cypress Creek would have 422 apartments and 591 parking spaces. It would include 62 workforce apartments for people making up to 120% of area median income.

Amenities would include a pool, a fitness center and an interior courtyard.

The S. Florida Business Journal reports this would continue a trend of multifamily development around office buildings in South Florida, as office building owners seek to capitalize on residential demand and make it easier to live near the workplace.
