Related Group Secures $75M Refinancing for Tampa MF Community

The Related Group secured a $75-million loan to refinance Town Westshore, a 396-unit waterfront multifamily community currently under construction in Tampa.

Located at 5001 Bridge St., the four-story development is on the waterfront of Old Tampa Bay and will consist of a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Amenities will include a clubhouse, health spa, beach-entry and swimming pool. The project broke ground in January of 2018, and was originally slated for completion this summer.

SunTrust Bank provided the financing to The Related Group, with Rebecca Cox of SunTrust leading the transaction. Terms of the financing were not disclosed. LandSouth Construction is the contractor on the project, while MSA Architects designed the apartments.
