The Related Group has been given approval by the Jacksonville City Council for a reworked design for a project at the site of River City Brewing Co. on Jacksonville’s Southbank. Related Group’s project features 410 multi-family units, a 4,559-square-foot restaurant and a nine-story parking garage. The plans show a 24-story residential tower and restaurant on the riverfront and a nine-story garage wrapping around an eight-story residential building next to Museum Circle. Construction costs are expected to run as high as $92 million.

Miami-based The Related Group bought the 3.4-acre site from the city for $10 million in 2021 and tore down the restaurant at 835 Museum Circle in 2022.
