Reich Brothers Spends $53M to Acquire Aviation Campus near Baltimore
White Plains, NY-based Reich Brothers has purchased the former Martin Aviation facility in Middle River, MD, for $52.5 million.
The 53-acre, 1.9-million-square-foot industrial campus will be repurposed for modernized flex distribution and manufacturing with additional developable acreage slated for both spec industrial and big box retail development. Reich expects to invest another $30 million in renovations such as improved infrastructure, ESFR sprinkler systems, rail and heavy power.
The modernized campus, to be renamed Reich Brothers Aviation Station, will also benefit from expansive economic incentives inclusive of Enterprise Zone, Opportunity Zone, MD Job creation and Foreign Trade Zone designations.
The property was formerly an aeronautics manufacturing facility and is located with access to I-95, I-695 the Port of Baltimore.
