Regis Relocating HQ to Former Target Campus in Minneapolis
Regis Corporation plans to shift its headquarters in Edina, MN to the former campus of Target Corporation in Minneapolis. The beauty salons and cosmetology education company will take 65,000 square feet on four floors at 3701 Wayzata Blvd.
Regis Corp.’s Hugh Sawyer says, “We believe our new headquarters will facilitate collaboration among our internal teams, support our employee recruiting efforts, and at the same time enhance shareholder value.”
The company, which operates such brands as Supercuts, SmartsStyle, MasterCuts and Cost Cutters, intends to relocate to the new location in early 2020 and will be listing its current campus with Cresa’s Jim Vos and Steve Strom.
Minnetonka, MN-based The Opus Group acquired the nine-story, 313,057-square-foot building last December for $22 million. Subsequently, it launched a redevelopment of the Interstate 394 corridor asset into a multi-tenant building that’s expected to deliver this summer.
