Refurbished Tower Nearly Fully-Occupied

Companies have leased 305,000 square feet of space at 1166 Avenue of the Americas in the last 18 months.

The latest is from Huron Consulting Group, which will occupy 32,509 square feet on the third floor of the tower, owned by Edward J. Minskoff Equities.

“Minskoff has recently completed a comprehensive repositioning project at 1166 Avenue of the Americas,” said Paul N. Glickman, vice chairman for JLL, which represented Minskoff in the transaction. “Tenants in the building benefit from a magnificent new lobby, extraordinary artwork and an ideal location.”

JLL is currently leasing and marketing approximately 80,000 square feet of space on the entire 20th  and 21st floors. That makes the 1.6 million-square-feet almost fully occupied.

Recent leases at the property include:
– investment and technology firm D.E. Shaw & Co. renewed for 195,000 square feet
– technology and services company Arcesium leased 39,000 square feet
– telecommunications leader Sprint leased 39,000 square feet
