Redwood Capital Adds Bob Flannery as COO

Multifamily investment manager Redwood Capital Group has brought in Bob Flannery in the newly created positions of EVP and COO, while also serving as president of Redwood Residential. Flannery’s position was created in conjunction with Chicago-based Redwood’s plan to double in size in the next five years.

Flannery most recently served as president of CA Residential, the multifamily development platform of CA Ventures. In this role, he built a team of professionals with diverse expertise for a $3-billion portfolio of Class A assets in major growth markets across the U.S.

“I am incredibly energized by this opportunity,” said Flannery. “This is already a best-in-class organization and I have tremendous respect for the history and existing culture of the firm founded by David Carlson and Mark Isaacson. I look forward to working with the leadership team to build on a fantastic foundation to drive innovation and scale.”
