Redmond Senior Housing Opens New Addition of $63M Project
Emerald Heights, a senior living facility in Redmond, has officially opened the newest addition, Courtyard, to residents.
The Courtyard building concept was first introduced in 2017, and construction began in September 2022. The $63 million project was designed by Rice Fergus Miller under the direction of Dean Kelly and built by GLY Construction.
The three-level Courtyard building offers six apartment designs ranging from 826 to 1,764 square feet. The Courtyard building also includes an underground parking structure, shared outdoor spaces and meeting areas on each floor. “After many years of anticipation, we are so excited to finally welcome our new Courtyard residents,” said Grant Linacre, executive director of Emerald Heights.
Emerald Heights is also working on a $55 million assisted-living project, FirView, expected to expand the campus by an additional 67,555 square feet. The plans call for the construction of 54 units as well as a new dining area, activity rooms, outdoor patio, parking, and a sky bridge to connect the main buildings.
