Redevelopment Plans Unveiled for Uptown Phoenix Office
Phoenix-based George Oliver unveiled plans for its CASA redevelopment, a 181,188-square-foot, Class A office building in Phoenix’s booming Uptown neighborhood at 7878 N. 16th St. A $17-million renovation will help re-establish the 1989-built CASA into next-generation modernized office space, focused on a strong sense of community, health and wellness.
The building’s Spanish architectural roots, including natural wood elements and smooth stucco finishes, will be retained and augmented with updated modern lobbies, restrooms, an exterior facelift and new landscaping. Tenant amenities will include a lounge and café and a training center for roughly 60 guests.
Two centralized courtyards are planned with water features and seating that serves as a hub for relaxation and collaboration. An on-site co-working facility, operated by ownership, will be added to accommodate users ranging from one to 10 desks.
George Oliver purchased the asset in 2018 for $16.5 million, and plans to start renovations next month with delivery expected in Q3.
