Redeveloped Monrovia Landing Opens

Warner Pacific Properties opened a new T.J.Maxx/HomeGoods combo store at the newly redeveloped Monrovia Landing at 735 and 737 E. Huntington Dr. in Monrovia, CA. The investment and development firm acquired the property in February 2016, and at the time of the acquisition, the 98,000-square-foot retail center consisted of a vacated Albertsons grocery store building and an O’Reilly Auto Parts store and was shadow-anchored by Michaels.

Other new tenants at the redeveloped property include ALDI, which is slated to open in early December 2017, and ULTA Beauty, which is expected to open in Q2 2018.Warner Pacific Properties has facilitated more than 100 ALDI projects nationally.

The retail building was originally developed in 1973 as a Super Kmart, and was then acquired by Lucky Grocery Stores in 1997, and then later by Albertsons. Monrovia Landing is part of a larger retail development known as Shamrock Center.
