Red Sox Consolidate Offices with Three-Floor Lease Near Fenway Park

The Boston Red Sox have leased 100,000 square feet at Samuels & Associates’ 1325 Boylston St., a block from Fenway Park, according to published reports. The new location will bring together staff from three locations on an interim basis until delivery begins on the proposed $1.6-billion Fenway Corners mixed-use project.

Along with moving Red Sox front-office staff out of Fenway Park, the lease for the top three floors of 1325 Boylston St. will also accommodate parent company Fenway Sports Group and sibling organization Fenway Sports Management. The Boston Business Journal reported that the lease is for six years, with an option to extend it for another five.

Long-term, the Major League Baseball franchise plans to occupy a 250,000-square-foot office building that would represent the first phase of Fenway Corners. The team plans to develop the project in partnership with WS Development. A construction timeline has not been announced.
