Red Rock Developments, Smart Warehousing Ink Pre-Completion Lease for Gaston Facility
Red Rock Developments and Smart Warehousing have agreed on a full lease for a 497,952-square-foot cross-dock, speculative facility at the Sandy Run Industrial Park located in Gaston, SC. The facility is under construction and is one of the largest spec building ever to be constructed in the area according to Red Rocks Developments, a Columbia, SC-based commercial real estate development company.
Chuck Salley, Dave Matthews, Thomas Beard, and John Peebles of Colliers represented Red Rock Developments in the lease transaction. John Sharpe and John DeCuto of Lee & Associates represented Smart Warehousing, a warehousing, fulfillment and technology solutions company headquartered in Kansas City, MO with 38 warehouses and over 12 million square feet of warehouse space across the country.
The Class A facility features direct access from Interstate 26 and is located near the Amazon Distribution Center, Nephron Pharmaceuticals, the UPS Air HUB and the Columbia Metropolitan Airport. It has direct access to the Port of Charleston.
