Red Oak Names Regional Manager for Midwest 

Red Oak Capital Holdings, LLC, a national commercial real estate finance company headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, has appointed CRE finance veteran Stratos Athanassiades as regional manager – Midwest. Based in Chicago, he will originate commercial real estate bridge loans while cultivating and building deal relationships within the region’s mortgage banking and brokerage community.    

“With his extensive experience across the CRE finance spectrum, Stratos brings valuable insight and expertise to our growing company,” said Red Oak CEO Gary Bechtel. “With his deep knowledge of the industry, ability to cultivate strong relationships, and track record of identifying and structuring sophisticated financing solutions, we’re confident that he will be an excellent asset to our team.”   

Athanassiades most recently was a managing director with Verus Commercial Real Estate Finance, a nationwide balance sheet bridge lender. Previously, he held leadership roles with firms including Money360, Alliant Credit Union, Business Partners, LLC, MetLife and Wachovia Securities.
