RED Mortgage Capital Adds NYC Affordable Team

RED Mortgage Capital, a division of ORIX Real Estate Capital, has hired Sean Cullen (pictured) and Ronnie Gyani to lead its multifamily affordable lending activities in the greater New York City area. Cullen and Gyani have worked together since 2010.

“RED has a long and proud history of serving the affordable housing community with customized financing solutions and team-wide sector expertise,” said Trent Brooks, president of RED Mortgage Capital. “Sean and Ronnie exemplify this expertise, and will do an excellent job serving affordable owner/operators in the New York market and nationwide.”

Previously, Cullen, a 23-year CRE veteran, and Gyani worked together providing affordable housing services at RBC Capital Markets, as well as ACRE Capital. Most recently, they served at Barings Multifamily Capital, originating a variety of affordable housing loan products including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD and balance sheet executions.
