Recently Opened Guinness Brewery in Fulton Market Up for Sale

The new West Loop Guinness Open Gate Brewery is for sale just weeks after opening its doors. Chicago real estate developer Fred Latsko listed the 15,000-square-foot space property at 901 W. Kinzie Street, hiring JLL to market the building for a buyer.

The brewery and bakery will remain operational even if the building changes hands, reported the Chicago Tribune. The highly anticipated brewery features over a dozen beers, including Irish specialties, locally brewed drafts, and a full restaurant, taproom and bakery.

“While the landlord is selling the property, the business is not for sale,” a Guinness Open Brewery Chicago spokesperson told the outlet. “Guinness is fully committed to the space, the West Loop community and is thrilled to have had such a strong opening two weeks.” Guinness, Latsko and JLL are pitching the Chicago brewery as a unique chance for private ownership.
