REBNY Honors Industry Leaders at 127th Annual Event at The Glasshouse  

The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) ‘s 127th annual event took place on April 20th at The Glasshouse. Industry leaders and public officials gathered for a night of celebration, networking, and culinary experience to recognize the industry’s contributions to New York City.  

2023 REBNY annual event honorees include: 

Barry M. Gosin, Newmark CEO for Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award 

Mary Ann Tighe, CBRE New York Tri-State CEO, for Harry B. Helmsley Distinguished New Yorker Award 

John C. Santora, chairman of New York Tri-State at Cushman & Wakefield, for the Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award 

Dan Doctoroff, founder and chairman of Target ALS for the John E. Zuccotti Public Service Award;  

Elly Pateras, executive managing director of Douglas Elliman Property Management for The George M. Brooker Management Executive of the Year Award 

Fredrick K. Marek, vice-chairman of Helmsley Spear LLC for the Louis Smadbeck Memorial Broker Recognition Award 

James Nelson, head of Tri-State investment sales at Avison Young, for the Young Real Estate Professional of the Year Award.  

“Our honorees exemplify real estate’s profoundly positive impact on New York City’s growth and success,” said REBNY president James Whelan. “Their remarkable passion, vision and ingenuity have elevated our industry and strengthened the foundations of our city.”
