Reata Pharmaceuticals Inks 122K-SF Sublease Deal

Reata Pharmaceuticals signed an agreement to take down 121,903 square feet of sublease space at 5320 Legacy Dr. in Plano, TX. The space was offered by Denbury Onshore LLC, which previously occupied it. According to Cushman & Wakefield’s Travis Boothe, Reata will use the space for its executive and back-office functions.

Boothe and Cushman & Wakefield colleagues Mike Wyatt, Maureen Kelly Cooper and Robbie Baty, represented Denbury Onshore. CBRE’s Jeff Ellerman and John Ellerman represented the subtenant.

5320 Legacy is part of the three-building, 1.2-million-square-foot, 107-acre Campus at Legacy. Denbury had leased 325,000 square feet of the building space in 2010 for its corporate headquarters. According to Boothe, the sublease space is excess for Denbury, which “has a number of options to provide subtenants with flexible office options.”
