Realty.com Enters Commercial Arena with Houston Office Buy

Houston-based Realty.com, a privately-held national real estate brokerage and portal, has entered the commercial real estate market with the purchase of a 20-story Class A office building at 363 North Sam Houston Pkwy. E, in North Houston.

“This is an exciting first of many moves we’ll be making into the commercial real estate world,” said Lance Custen, president and CEO of Realty com. Deal terms weren’t disclosed.

Completed in 1982 and renovated from 2016-2019, with 400,000 square feet and a connected seven-level precast parking garage, the property represents a marked step forward for Realty.com, which has previously focused exclusively on residential real estate.

Additional features of the property include Energy Star labeling, an on-site fitness center, a delicatessen and a renovated atrium running the full-story height of the property. Plans to add a tenant center with a full arcade and kitchen are already underway.
