Realtor.com Expanding to 901 E. 6th; Will Add 200 Jobs
Realtor.com’s Opcity will expand to Austin’s eastern edge of the CBD, with eventual plans to add 200 more jobs. The company inked a 29,000-square-foot deal with Endeavor Real Estate for space at the 129,444-square-foot, under-construction 901 E. 6th St. Opcity will move into the space by the end of September.
Opcity was acquired in October 2018 by Move Inc., which operates Realtor.com. The company operates a platform connecting real estate agents with pre-screened homebuyers and sellers. The new site will house the company’s product, engineering, data science and analytics employees.
Opcity signed a 50,000-square-foot lease at The Met Center, at 6800 Burleson Rd., on Austin’s southeast side in fall 2017. The company will remain in that space, which houses approximately 650 employees in sales, marketing, finance, accounting and customer support.
