Realterm Logistics Acquires Cold Storage Facility in Opa-Locka for $26M

Realterm Logistics has acquired a 12-acre, 157,000-square-foot cold storage facility for $26 million in Opa-Locka. Realterm Logistics is an institutional owner of logistics facilities that serves the transportation industry. Located at 12401, 12701, 12725 NW 38 Ave., the facility has been fully leased to Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors for the past 10 years and recently exercised a renewal option.

John Lonardo of ComReal | Miami-Coral Gables represented the seller, Stephen M. Greene, in the transaction. Chris Spear of ComReal | Miami-Doral advised the buyer in the off-market transaction.

“We are excited to add this property to our portfolio,” said Tyler Mordas, VP of Acquisitions at Realterm. “The combination of dock-high loading and coverage make the property extremely unique for the market, and one we think will benefit from the increased industrial distribution demand.”
