RealSource Properties Pays $47M for Georgetown Apartment Community

RealSource Properties Multifamily REIT has completed the $47-million acquisition of The Mill at Georgetown, a 228-unit apartment community located in the Lexington submarket of Georgetown, KY.

“RealSource’s acquisition of The Mill at Georgetown demonstrates our proven experience to choose assets that we believe offer upside and a distinct value proposition to investors and residents,” said Nate Hanks, CEO of RealSource Properties. “We acquire well-chosen, thoroughly vetted assets using our data to enhance our decision making.”

The Mill at Georgetown sits at 115 Magnolia Drive, about a 30-minute drive to downtown Lexington. The property’s amenities include a resident clubroom, fitness center, resort-style pool with shaded pergola, outdoor lounge, grilling area and a dog park.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, located three miles from The Mill at Georgetown, is Toyota’s largest vehicle manufacturing plant in the world, and employs more than 10,000 people.

Since launching in 2003, the Salt Lake City, UT-based RealSource Properties company has acquired 46 properties for an aggregate purchase price of nearly $1 billion.
