REAL Announces Board of Directors for 2024-25

Real Estate Association of Latinx Professionals (REAL) announced its 2024/2025 board of directors. The new board brings more than 100 years of combined experience and leadership to help strengthen the organization and further REAL’s commitment to expanding access to capital, creating business opportunities and building the network for the Latinx community. Along with the addition of the new board members, REAL also launched a new website and brand refresh.

The board of directors welcomes:

  • Jeff Monge, Managing Partner of Monge Capital, as Board President;
  • Daniel Ceniceros, Founder & CEO of Connect CRE, as Incoming Board President & Marketing Chair;
  • Michelle R. Lagos, CRE Transaction Attorney at Allen Matkins, as Board Secretary;
  • Jason Acosta, Senior Director and U.S. Head of Asset Management at Nuveen, as Board Treasurer and Chair of Project AIRE;
  • Christianne Schrobilgen, Principal of Las Segovias, as Director of Operations;
  • Nancy Guzman, VP at Citi, as Programming Chair and Nueva Gen Committee Chair;
  • Victor Espinosa, Vp & Head of Business Development at Peachtree Group

“It is an honor to join the REAL Board of Directors as Board President and continue to advance the organization’s goal of creating more access for Latinos in the real estate industry,” said Monge. “REAL remains focused on connecting people with opportunities through in-person and online networking events, as well as initiatives like Nueva Gen, Mujeres de REAL and Project Aire.”

The announcement comes during Hispanic Heritage Month, when REAL will host several new events in observance of this commemorative period on both the East and the West Coasts. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the New York membership will gather for REAL Raíces, an event celebrating the culture and customs that are foundational for the Latinx community. On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Southern California REAL members will gather at Mercado Gonzalez at Northgate Market in Costa Mesa, a Latinx-run marketplace, for a similar celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
