RCA Looks to Ramp Up Platform with SGE Backing

CRE data firm Real Capital Analytics sees the $115-million investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity as a launching pad to ramp up its capabilities. “This investment marks a new stage in our evolution, and positions RCA for continued growth well into the future,” said Bob White, New York City-based RCA’s founder and CEO.

The SGE investment buys out a minority stake held by UK-based Daily Mail and Global Trust since 2007. White will continue as CEO and, along with RCA employees, maintain a controlling stake in the company.

In an internal memo to employees, White said the investment was “the perfect catalyst for RCA to be retrospective about our many strengths and identify areas of weakness as we strategize and develop common goals over the coming months.  The partnership with SGE allows us to be far more ambitious in setting those goals than we have been able to do in the past.”

He added that for RCA, “Opportunities abound with new products, new data and new partnerships.”
