RCA Launches Capital Liquidity Scores for CRE
Real Capital Analytics launched Capital Liquidity Scores as a way to illuminate liquidity and bring standardization to commercial real estate investing in all major real estate markets. The company’s comprehensive global transactions database is expected to produce reliable, repeatable and robust measurements.
CRE investors will be able to measure capital liquidity across the globe, using the same standardized methodology and a consistent data set. The score will provide a better sense of how broad and deep the investor pool in a market is, and the implication this has for liquidity.
The Capital Liquidity Scores use a mix of relative and absolute weighted measures. That includes a traditional volume measure, as well as the number of unique buyers active in a market, the market’s share of the pool of global cross-border capital, the presence of institutional and REIT capital, as well as top-ranked investors by zone and globally.
