Raymond Ritchey Ready to Take a Step Back from Senior EVP Role at BXP

BXP, a publicly traded developer, owner and manager of US workplaces, has announced that Washington, DC-based senior EVP Raymond Ritchey has elected to transition to a less than full time role.

Although Ritchey will be allocating time to personal, business, and philanthropic pursuits outside of BXP, he will remain a member of the executive management team and will continue to support BXP’s Washington, DC, Los Angeles and Seattle regional businesses as well as coordinate companywide leasing and cross-regional client relationships.

“Ray is one of the most recognized and respected figures in real estate in Washington, DC, and he contributes to BXP across many of our markets,’ said Owen Thomas, chairman and CEO of BXP. “We are delighted that Ray will continue to provide his time and talents to supporting BXP’s success.”

Boston, MA-based BXP’s portfolio totals 54.1 million square feet and 194 properties, including 13 properties under construction or redevelopment.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
