
Rare Prewar Apartment Portfolio Listed in Rego Park
B6 Real Estate Advisors has been retained as the exclusive agents of sale for a group of 18 prewar Queens multifamily buildings known as The Rego Park 18 Portfolio. With an asking price of $210 million, the grouping is only the third portfolio of this scale to come to market in Rego Park or the neighboring Forest Hills neighborhood in 50 years.
A B6 team of Thomas Donovan, Eugene Kim, Tommy Lin and Robert Rappa is marketing the 553-unit portfolio, which sits in a designated Opportunity Zone, on behalf of Queens Park Realty Corp. The Rego Park 18 has been owned for more than 75 years by the same family, who originally purchased the properties from their builder.
The firm notes that investor interest in Queens multifamily portfolios remains strong. Blackstone, for example, acquired Jack Parker Corporation’s Parker Towers in Forest Hills for $500 million in 2018.
