Rare Lakefront Apartment Property Comes to Market

Essex Realty Group is representing the seller of The Beach House, a five-unit Rogers Park apartment building located at 7609 N. Eastlake Terr. The undisclosed seller is asking $1.7 million, or $340,000 per unit.

“Properties like these are few and far between,” said Clay Maxfield, director at Essex Realty. “This is one of only a small handful of lakefront apartment buildings remaining in Chicago. The property features fully renovated interiors, five parking spaces and private access to Lake Michigan.”

Eastlake Terrace is one of a handful of Chicago streets offering unobstructed views of the lake. The Rogers Park neighborhood in which The Beach House is located is home to about 130 restaurants and a variety of retail offerings. However, it’s also just 0.2 miles from Evanston, IL, and about two miles from Evanston’s commercial district. The property was renovated in 2017.
