Rappahannock Development Group Names Prate as CIO in Virginia

Fredricksburg-based residential and commercial real estate development firm Rappahannock Development Group has named Tommy Prate Chief Investment Officer.

Prior to joining the RDG team, Prate was a co-founder of Magnify Capital, a real estate investment firm focused on the Single Family Residential asset class. He previously held positions of Chief Operating Officer at e360 Power, CIO at Stratfor Global Intelligence, Treasurer and Director of Global Operations for Ospraie Management.

Additionally, Chris Hornung has been promoted to Chief Development Officer at the firm. He will oversee all RDG development projects and be responsible for implementing RDG’s strategic growth initiatives nation-wide. Chris brings more than twenty-five years experience managing the acquisition, planning, permitting, construction and sale of residential, commercial and industrial development projects.
