Renters can start moving into The Kendry, RangeWater Real Estate’s latest multifamily community, located at 8402 IBM Drive in Charlotte. In addition to Rainwater, project participants on the 300-unit development include McShane Construction Co. as general contractor and Poole & Poole Architecture as designer. RangeWater has delivered a dozen multifamily or build-to-rent communities in the Charlotte area.

The development team broke ground on the project in 2021. Commercial Edge reports Renasant Bank financed its construction with a $38.8 million loan.

Spanning 28 acres, The Kendry encompasses three garden-style buildings with one—to three-bedroom floorplans ranging between 704 and 1,409 square feet and rents ranging from $1,381 – $2,283. Units feature granite countertops, walk-in closets and private balconies or patios, among other features. The community amenity package, measuring nearly 10,000 square feet, includes a swimming pool, a couple of courtyards, a gym, a game room and a Zoom room.
