Range Group, HSA Commercial Acquire Land for Industrial Development
Chicago-based developers Range Group and HSA Commercial Real Estate have acquired two adjacent parcels totaling 2.25 acres within the Kinzie Planned Manufacturing District on Chicago’s Near West Side.
The firms plan to develop a pair of 35,000-square-foot small-bay warehouses on the sites, located at 2519 W. Fulton Ave. and 2520 W. Lake St. Chicago-based ARCO/Murray is the design-build general contractor for the project. Larry Goldwasser and Matt Cowie of Chicago’s CBRE office will lease the warehouses.
“This development will bring the first modern industrial product for small-bay users to Chicago’s thriving Kinzie Industrial Corridor,” said Seth Halpern, principal and co-founder of Range Group. “Given their proximity to Chicago’s densest neighborhoods, they are ideal for various businesses such as last-mile delivery stations, trade and service firms or light manufacturing.”
The warehouses will be less than a mile from the Dwight D. Eisenhower Expressway and approximately three miles from the Jane Byrne Interchange, where the Eisenhower, Kennedy and Dan Ryan Expressways converge.
