Randy Conte Joins Cresset as COO

Randall “Randy” Conte has been named COO at Cresset Capital Management, a Chicago-based registered investment advisor. Founded three years ago, the company now has $9.8 billion in assets under management, including real estate investments.

Prior to Cresset, Conte was president of Parkway Bank and Trust and Parkway Bancorp, a $2.7-billion2 community bank focused on commercial real estate lending. Before that, he was EVP and chief operating and chief financial officer of MB Financial Bank, a $20-billion, publicly traded commercial bank that was headquartered in Rosemont, IL, prior to being acquired by Fifth Third. Conte served as co-head of all acquisition integration efforts for MB Financial Bank.

“We are thrilled to welcome Randy to Cresset,” said Avy Stein, co-founder and co-chairman of Cresset. “He brings extensive operations experience with both large and small financial services organizations and will further bolster the innovative platform we have built and continue to improve.”
