Randolph Development Completes 190K-SF Industrial Facility Near Charleston

Randolph Development has completed a 189,500-square-foot industrial facility in Summerville, S.C. The developer tapped Frampton Construction Co. to build the Class A speculative facility. Construction was completed in December of 2020.

Located in Metro Charleston, the facility will be the first of two heavy industrial buildings that will make up Portside Distribution Center. Development of the second facility is currently underway, with Randolph expected to break ground in late Spring. The distribution center was developed for a number of end users, including logistics, aerospace and automotive suppliers, as well as defense contractors, light manufacturers and last-mile distributors.

Features of the facility include 32-foot clear heights, steel and load-bearing concrete tilt walls and 33 dock doors as well as two drive-in doors. Thomas & Hutton provided site, civil and landscape design for the 31-acre project. In addition, Colliers has been tapped to lease the property.
