The former co-founder of Sperry Van Ness, Rand Sperry, has announced Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates, LLC, a new franchise brokerage platform that launched with Los Angeles-based BRC Advisors, Inc. as its first affiliate. The platform offers investment sales, leasing, and management services.

Sperry, who serves as CEO of the Irvine, CA-based firm, brings more than four decades of CRE leadership and expertise to a broker-oriented platform focused on collaboration and value. BRC Advisors’ CEO and Founder James Huang joins the Sperry team as President.

BRC Advisors, which closed more than $750 million in transactions in 2015, brings 100 brokers in five LA-area offices including DTLA, Beverly Hills, Manhattan Beach, Encino, and Mid-Wilshire.

Sperry says an aggressive expansion is planned throughout Orange County and Los Angeles, as well as New York, Philadelphia and Seattle. Rand Sperry’s current portfolio of CRE companies includes Sperry Commercial, Inc. and Sperry Equities, LLC.
