Rainbow Partners With Standard Cos. to Provide Support to Affordable Housing Community in Providence

Rainbow Housing Assistance Corp., a nationwide nonprofit organization focused on service-enriched housing for affordable and senior communities, has partnered with affordable housing developer Standard Cos. to provide supportive services to residents at the newly-renovated Charles Place Apartment Homes in Providence.

Rainbow will provide residents at the 200-unit complex access to a full range of programs and services, to help older adults remain independent and healthy in their community. Tenants also have the opportunity to participate in Web-Based Resident Applied Programming. The series of webinars cover topics such as financial literacy, health and nutrition, continuing education, community enrichment, and weekly exercises.

Reports show more than 90,000 Rhode Islanders have become unemployed during the coronavirus pandemic. Rainbow currently serves 111 communities and 15,286 units across the United States.
