R.W. Holmes Tapped to Lease Former National Amusements Headquarters in Norwood

R.W. Holmes Commercial Real Estate has been retained as leasing agent for 846 University Ave., a Class A office property in Norwood, MA. Previously the headquarters of National Amusements and Showcase Cinemas, the property is now being marketed for lease for the first time since 2006.

“Today’s tenants are looking for quality, accessibility, and a great value that will support their business and employees,” said Michael Fahy, assistant VP at R.W. Holmes. “846 University Ave. delivers on all three, making it an outstanding opportunity for companies looking to establish or expand their presence in the heart of the 128 south market.”

The property is under new ownership, Falconi Properties, as of May 2026 with major improvements now underway. According to R.W. Holmes, it offers flexible leasing opportunities for office, medical, and Flex/R&D users, with suites ranging from approximately 4,000 square feet to a full-building 60,000 square feet.
