R/GA Relocates Global Headquarters from Brooklyn to Manhattan

GDS Development Management and Corem said Monday that creative innovation agency R/GA has signed a 15,315-square-foot lease for the full fourth floor of 1245 Broadway. The company will relocate its global headquarters to Midtown South from Dock 72 at Brooklyn Navy Yard.

The move to 1245 Broadway follows the agency’s return to private ownership last spring, ending a 23-year tenure with IPG through a new partnership between R/GA’s global management and private equity firm Truelink Capital.

The lease runs for five years, according to the New York Business Journal. Colliers’ Jack Senke and Sheena Gohil represented R/GA in its new lease, CBRE’s Neil King, Meghan Allen, James Ackerson and Paul Amrich represented GDSNY.

“We are very excited to welcome R/GA to 1245 Broadway,” said Michael Kirchmann, CEO of GDSNY. “Their visionary approach and commitment to innovation make them a perfect fit for our building’s well-established creative community.”
