Quontic Bank Inks Full-Floor Sublease at Rock Center

Quontic Bank has inked a six-year sublease for 19,799 square feet of office space and will occupy the entire ninth floor at Tishman Speyer’s 1 Rockefeller Plaza. The bank is relocating there from 31-05 Broadway in Astoria.

A JLL team of Alexander Chudnoff, Benjamin Bass and Harrison Potter represented Quontic. Sublandlord Trammo was represented by Savills’ Greg Taubin, Scott Bogetti and Sean Hoffman.

“Quontic Bank will be relocating its corporate headquarters from Astoria, Queens, to 1 Rockefeller as part of its expansion and conversion to a digital bank, and was focused on finding the best platform to continue growing its expanding business in Manhattan,” said Chudnoff. “We were able to locate beautifully built, high-end office space at 1 Rockefeller Plaza that will help the bank immediately satisfy this requirement.”

The 36-story 1 Rockefeller Plaza is part of the 19-building Rockefeller Center complex. Tishman Speyer acquired the property in 2001.
