Queen Mary Developer Relocates to JMB’s Century City Tower
Connect Los Angeles is planned March 27th at the Hotel Indigo in DTLA. Here is where to get more information and REGISTER.
Urban Commons, the company behind the planned $250-million redevelopment of the Queen Mary tourist attraction in Long Beach, CA, is relocating from downtown Los Angeles to larger offices in Century City’s 10250 Constellation Blvd. The development and investment firm will take nearly 12,000 square feet of fully-furnished sublease space in Chicago-based JMB Financial Advisors’ 35-story, nearly 800,000-square-foot tower.
The firm previously occupied 7,700 square feet at one of Brookfield’s properties, 777 South Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles.
Colliers International’s Nathan Pellow, James Robbins and Nick Nybakken represented the firm in its 63-month deal.
“Urban Commons entered a rapid growth phase after acquiring the Queen Mary in Long Beach, along with several more hotel investments,” said Pellow. “It needed a long-term expansion space that would sustain the organization for at least five years and that’s what this space does.”
