Quarterra Multifamily has begun construction on 265-unit mid-rise community in the Boston, MA neighborhood of Allston.

Quarterra Starts Construction on Second Massachusetts Multifamily

Quarterra Multifamily, has started construction at Harper, a 265-unit mid-rise community located in the Boston, MA neighborhood of Allston.

The neighborhood has historically attracted a large student demographic due to its location at the center of Boston’s top universities; in recent years, however, the area has also become home to a diverse population of young professionals, lured by the public art and burgeoning music scene, according to Quarterra Multifamily.

“Allston is perfectly positioned amid Boston’s unparalleled academic institutions. But the neighborhood has really taken on its own identity over the years,” said Dan Lee, Quarterra Multifamily (a subsidiary of Lennar Corporation) division president for New England.

Harper will offer studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, including eight designated artist studio units. The community will be highlighted by two rooftop decks and 2,500 square feet of ground-floor retail.

Harper residents will have access to a club room, fitness studio, co-working spaces, artist studio, pet spa and automated parking garage.

She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
