Qualtrics 275K-SF Lease Brings Skanska’s 38-Story Seattle Tower to Full Capacity

Skanska signed a 275,000-square-foot lease with Qualtrics at 2+U, a 38-story, Class-A+ office tower nearing completion in downtown Seattle. The customer experience and creator of the experience management category will lease 13 floors of the 701,000 square-foot MXU, which also includes an Urban Village with nearly 17,000 square feet of local retail and arts-and-culture space at Second Avenue and University Street.

The deal brings the office portion of the development, which will be known as Qualtrics Tower, to 100% leased. Qualtrics, which is expected to take occupancy in Summer 2020, plans to create more than 1,500 new regional jobs over the next several years.

Skanska’s Murphy McCullough says, “We’re very proud to now have all 2+U’s office space fully leased before we officially complete construction, and we’re equally proud of the caliber of innovative companies that will bring this beautiful building to life.”

Qualtrics was represented by Colliers, while NKF and CBRE represented Skanska.
