Qinghua International Readies to Build 690-Unit Condo
Hong Kong developer Qinghua International Holdings Ltd. has filed a sewer connection permit with the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Planning and Permitting, to build a 690-unit condominium tower. The development on the 1300 block of Kapiolani Blvd. in Honolulu will also include a 75-seat restaurant, 7,200 square feet of retail space and a health spa. Anna International Realty, based in Honolulu, is part of the development team.
The as-yet-unnamed project will be part of a transit-oriented development, along with seven other mixed-use, high-rise towers in the Ala Moana-Kapiolani area that are currently in various phases of development. The area is the last stop of Honolulu’s rail transit project. A construction launch date has not been announced.
