Purpose-Built Student Housing Development Underway in Pittsburgh
Austin, TX-based Campus Advantage and Highland Park, IL-based Pinecrest broke ground on The Bridge on Forbes, a 197-unit student housing community near two universities in Pittsburgh, PA. Located on Forbes Avenue, the 489-bed, 10-story project fronts the main retail corridor for students attending the University of Pittsburgh or Carnegie Mellon University, and is also steps away from UPMC – Montefiore and Magee Womens Hospital in downtown Pittsburgh’s thriving Oakland neighborhood.
Pinecrest’s Tyler Perlmutter says, “We have worked diligently alongside the Oakland Business Improvement District to design The Bridge on Forbes, with the intention of achieving the broader goal of improving the area for people who live, work and socialize in Oakland and the City of Pittsburgh.”
Featuring fully-furnished studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, the monthly rental rates will include a living room TV, dishwasher, microwave, range, quartz countertops, refrigerator, in-unit washer and dryer, cable and high-speed internet.
