Publix Buys Newly Constructed Publix-Anchored Shopping Complex in Decatur
Publix has purchased Sam’s Crossing Village, a 65,785-square-foot retail center in Decatur, GA. The 2022-completed is anchored by a 53,785-square-foot Publix and occupied by tenants including DECA Dental, Planet Smoothie, Jersey Mike’s and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
Joe Montgomery, Scott Israel and Henry Kushner of professional services and investment management company Colliers represented developer/seller Alliance Realty Services in the sale.
“Sam’s Crossing Village is an exciting new development well-positioned inside of I-285 on the eastern edge of Decatur,” said Israel. “The shopping center’s location on East Ponce de Leon Avenue at North Arcadia Avenue gives access to a previously underserved submarket currently exhibiting explosive multifamily residential growth.”
Sam’s Crossing Village caters to affluent customers with a population of 110,254 and an average household income of $122,101 within a three-mile radius.
